Lancet     Stallion | * 1993 | Hannover | dark brown | 1, 70 m| Studfee: 900 €

The Tsar

Lancet’s pedigree combines the best Hanovarian blood lines. The combination of Wenzel I – Shogun xx alone speaks for itself (stallions Wanninger, Wellenbrecher among others). This is rounded off by the excellent dam-line which brought about the stallions Argentan I and II (full siblings of Lancet’s grandmother Anika!), the DLG winning mare Goldlady and her grandsons Frenchman I and II.

In 2008 the Olympic dream came true: Lancet and Emma Hindle represented the British colours at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong and rounded off their joint career with position seven in the individual ranking.

In 2004 Lancet already participated in the Olympic Games in Athens: With his former rider Imke Schellekens-Bartels he competed for the Netherlands and ranked eleventh in the individual and number four in the team ranking.

Lancet´s biggest successes:
2004 Olympics Athens
2005 EM Hagen, Reserve
2006 WM Aachen, 15. Individually
2007 EM La Mandria
2008 Olympics Hong Kong
2009 CHIO Aachen. 4., EM Windsor, Team Silver + 8. Individually

Breeding in the Netherlands also brought Uzzo, Lancet’s son by a C-Indoctro I mother. He won the World Championships of Five-Year-Old Dressage Horses 2006 with Patrick van der Meer in a sensational way.

In the Netherlands the brown stallion Ziësto v. Lancet–Clavecimbel won the first of five stages in the KWPN Stallion Competition 2009/2010 at the National Dressage and Jumping Tournament in Assen/NL and achieved 83.5 percentage points with Gerdine Maree.
